Its not always easy creating meals and cooking in bulk, without it taking up so much time and effort. However, this stir fry recipe can change that as it will only take around 15-20 minutes whilst minimizing the washing up after as well.
Ingredients
- 1 bag of stir fry veg of choice (pick up from a supermarket)
- Protein of choice (I used tofu, but you can use chicken, or beef steak)
- 150g rice (or microwaveable rice)
- 1 cal spray oil
- sauce of choice (I used sweet chilli)
Method
- If using dry rice, cook this according to the pack method
- Meanwhile, heat the 1 cal spray oil in a deep frying pan or wok. You should need around 15 sprays to full grease the pan. Then prepare your protein of choice.
- Tip your protein into the wok and being to cook. Turn every now and then to ensure each side is evenly browned. If using chicken, you will want to cook this for a little longer. Add in your stir fry vegetables to cook for the final 5 minutes.
- Add your rice and mix all together with adding your sauce of choice.
- Serve and enjoy
This meal will last 2-3 days in the fridge from cooking day
